The incumbent governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma, is currently leading by a wide margin in the governorship election held on Saturday in the state.
The All Progressives Congress (APC), candidate has left his closest challengers and candidates of the Labour Party and Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) far behind.
Uzodinma is currently leading in 20 local government areas out of 27 in the state, according to the results so far declared by INEC.
Early reports show that the incumbent governor and his party have recorded 430,218 already.
The Labour Party is far behind with 45,020 while the PDP has scored 45,698.
