Imo Deputy Speaker Onyekanma Resigns

Imo State Deputy speaker, Rt. Hon. Okey Onyekanma, has resigned, days after Hope Uzodinma of the All Progressives Congress assumes office.

Imo State Speaker of the House, Cyprain Akaolisa, yesterday, January 21, 2020, read the letter of resignation from the Deputy Speaker to the house during the plenary of the Assembly.

It was also gathered that Onyekanma equally resigned as the Chairman, House Committee on Rules and Business.
