Prominent businessman Prince Alex Mbata, has built a two-kilometer road in new Owerri area of the Imo State capital.
It is a dual carriageway with street lights as approved by the Imo state government.
The businessman’s efforts, according to those close to him, is to complement the ongoing rehabilitation of roads being carried out by the Uzodimma Administration in Imo State.
It is also in line with the philanthropic gestures of Prince Mbata, who has constructed places of worship for his people and a five-kilometer road from Ulakwo to Ngwoma, to make life better for his people Obube community, Owerri North Local government area.
It was learnt that Governor Uzodimma had accepted to inaugurate the project, ABN TV reports.
