I’m Duly Recognised Chairman Of Abia APC, Donatus Nwankpa Insists [VIDEO]

Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC, Hon. Donatus Nwankpa has reiterated that he is the recognised CEO of the party in Abia.

He stated this on Saturday at the State Secretariat of the party in Umuahia while reacting to a parallel ward congress that rocked the party on Saturday.

He said the National ward congress Committee sent from that national secretariat of APC had absconded and were nowhere to be seen to handed over documents, including forms for candidates taking part in the Congress.

While declaring the Committee wanted, he insisted that there is no faction in Abia APC as he has the backing of all the elected and appointed political office holders of the party at the national level and those elected as Assembly members at the state level.

This led to a parallel Congress in the Saturday ward congress in Abia.

He alleged that the Committee had come to destroy the party in the state.

The committee had failed to report to the party secretariat in Umuahia upon arrival to the state, ABN TV reports.

He said no document had emerged to announce the dissolution of his Exco.

According to him, all relevant bodies including the security agencies have been notified about the development.

It is not however certain who the leader of the faction of the party in Abia is.
