Youths in Ikwuano local government area of Abia State under the aegis of Youth Leaders Forum have drummed support for the candidate of Action Democratic Party, ADP for Ikwuano/Umuahia Federal Constituency in the Feb. 25 National Assembly election, Chief Paul Okwuegbulem Meregini.
Youth Leaders Forum made its position known on Saturday after a consultative meeting with the candidate.
They described Chief Meregini as a man of impeccable character, who has distinguished himself as most credible and competent among all the candidates vying to represent the federal constituency.
Speaking after the consultative meeting, the Oboro clan coordinator of Ikwuano Youth Leaders Forum, Comr. Michael Ifeanyi Okaranwolu on behalf of other clan coordinators of the forum explained that Ikwuano will be better placed if Chief Paul is elected for the legislative office.
According to Comr. Okaranwolu, Chief Paul is honest, intelligent and very articulate.
Comr. Santiago Anyalewechi Nwamuo who is the Ikwuano youth president and the organizer of the consultative meeting, also described Chief Meregini as a man of credibility and competence.
