Governor Okezie Ikpeazu Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has described the death of the Traditional Ruler of Isiala Ukwu Mbato Autonomous Community in Obingwa LGA, Late Eze John Iheanyi Ikpeaba as a major blow to their Community and the entire Obingwa LGA.
Governor Ikpeazu stated this on Friday at the Old Eastern Ngwa Headquarters, Amuzu Ohanze at the funeral service for the Late Royal Father conducted by the Apostolic Christian Church Mission.
The Governor in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Onyebuchi Ememanka noted that the Late Eze promoted peace, harmony and development during his reign. He prayed God to grant his soul eternal rest and console his family and the entire Community and Obingwa LGA.
All the Speakers at the burial attested to the positive qualities of the Late Traditional Ruler who passed on at the age of 63 years.
The burial attracted the presence of political leaders from Obingwa LGA including the Member representing Obingwa East State Constituency and Leader of the State Assembly, Hon Solomon Akpulonu, Executive Chairman of Obingwa LGA, Hon . Ibe Nwoke, Chiwf Rowland Nwakanma and a former Executive Chairman of Isiala Ngwa South LGA, Chief Ifeanyi Isikaku and a host of Traditional Rulers from Obingwa LGA.
