Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu will on Monday, January 30 meet with over 50 invited members of his Peoples Democratic Party, PDP of Abia North extraction.

The state vice chairman and acting publicly Secretary, Elder Abraham Amah in a statement said the meeting scheduled to hold at Banquet Hall, Government House is strictly by invitation.

No reason was given for the meeting but may not be unconnected with the recent death of the party’s governorship candidate in the state, Prof. Uche Ikonne and the directive by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC for the party to conduct a fresh primary election for his replacement.
