In continuation of his ‘Kinetic Abia‘ project inspection and commissioning programme, Abia State Governor, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, will on Friday commission Immaculate Heart Avenue, Umungasi Aba in Osisioma Local Government Area on Friday, 9th July, 2021.
The time for the event is 1pm.
Our correspondent gathered that the Governor will later inspect ongoing road projects within Aba municipality.
The Governor in a statement signed by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu has invited the following to accompany him to the programmes:
a. Deputy Governor, Rt. Hon. Ude Oko Chukwu, and members of the state executive council
b. Members representing Obingwa/Osisioma/Ugwunagbo and Aba North/South Federal Constituencies at the National Assembly.
c. Speaker of Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon. Enyinnaya Orji, and members of the 7th Abia State House of Assembly
d. Members of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) led by Hon. Michael Ibe
e. State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Rt. Hon. Asiforo Okere
f. Members of the Abia State Council of Traditional Rulers led by HRM Eze Joseph Nwabekee
g. State Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria, Apostle Emma Agomuo and members of the clergy.
h. Leaders of Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in the state
i. The President and members of Aba Chamber of Commerce Industry, Mines and Agriculture, and Aba Sports Club
