Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has sent messages of goodwill and congratulations to the Speaker of the Abia State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Chinedum Orji on the occasion of the conferment on him of the ‘Public Service Award’ 2020 by the Sun Newspapers.
The Governor says the award is a clear validation of the sagacity the Speaker has brought to bear in his public service and political career, especially in his present position as the Honorable Speaker of the State Assembly, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Onyebuchi Ememanka said in a press statement obtained by ABN TV on Saturday.
According to the Governor, the present Abia State House of Assembly, under the leadership of Speaker Chinedum Orji has become a bastion of democracy and a beacon of Executive – Legislative harmony, adding that his administration has enjoyed excellent relations with the State Assembly.
The Governor urges the Speaker to see the well-deserved award as a call to even more greater service to the people of Abia State and humanity at large.
Similarly, the Governor also sends a message of congratulations to astute businessman and the Managing Director of Chrisnak Group of Companies, Prince Chris Odinaka Igwe on the conferment of the award of INVESTOR OF THE YEAR 2020 by Sun Newspapers, describing the award as a testament to successes that have defined the businesses run by Prince Odinaka Igwe.
“Describing him as a great and proud son of Abia State, Governor Ikpeazu notes that Prince Igwe is not just the ordinary businessman whose sole motivation is to make a profit but is a core believer in the ideals of corporate social responsibility.
“The Governor is grateful to Prince Igwe for always thinking home by ensuring that his businesses are well established here in Abia State, thereby providing job opportunities for our sons and daughters.
