Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu on Monday sacked his Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants.
This is contained in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem.
“The Governor of Abia State, Okezie Victor Ikpeazu, Ph.D has approved the immediate dissolution of the Body of Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants,and Special Assistants in Abia State“, the release read in part.
This be said is to take immediate effect.
Though no reason was given for their disengagement, the Governor however, appreciate all the appointees for their individual and collective contributions towards the development of the State.
The governor also wished them well in their future endeavours.
