Ikpeazu Moves To Ensure Enforcement Of Curfew In Aba, Ohafia And Arochukwu

In a bid to ensure the enforcement of curfew imposed on Aba North and South, Ohafia and Arochukwu local government areas, Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has directed Chairmen of affected local governments to immediately set up taskforces to support the enforcement

Chief of Staff to the Governor, A.C.B. Agbazuere disclosed this in a statement on Friday.

The governor also called on security agencies and the public to take note.

The Governor had imposed a curfew on the affected local governments of the state following attacks on police headquarters and Nigeria Correctional Service both in Owerri.
