The Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has donated six unbranded Sienna patrol vehicles to the state police command for effective service delivery, ABN TV reports.
The governor on Thursday handed over the vehicles to the Commissioner of Police Abia State Command, CP Janet Agbede at Government House Umuahia.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor, Chief ACB Agbazuere, while presenting the vehicles on behalf of the Governor said the gesture was borne out of the strong desire of the Executive Governor to ensure that Abia is safe, peaceful, and crime-free before, during, and after the Yuletide.
