Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Victor Ikpeazu has appointed a new board for the State Civil Service Commission.
The 5-man membership board is to be chaired by Dr. Mrs.Elizabeth Esochaghi.
No reason was however given for the reconstitution of the board. It may not be unconnected with efforts to reposition the service for optimum performance.
Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem in a statement obtained by ABN TV gave names of members of the board as Emmanuel Okwuobasi Kanu, Hon. Prince Onuoha, Barr. Eze Ndukauba and Mrs. Joyce Adiele.
He said the date of inauguration of the board of the Commission would be announced in due course.
