A chieftain of APGA, Ifeanyi Elvis Ogbonna has officially declared his interest to represent Arochukwu constituency in Abia State House of Assembly in 2023.
Mr. Ogbonna who at the weekend formally joined the Abia Assembly race during his official declaration at All Progressive Grand Alliance, APGA office in Asaga in Arochukwu LGA, said his people love him, expressing confidence that he will secure the party’s ticket to pursue his ambition and win at the polls.
He said the people of Arochukwu have been eager to see him represent them in the State Assembly, noting that he is the candidate to beat in the election.
The aspirant who told ABN TV that he has dedicated so much time planning on his political future said he has studied the political terrain under the tutelage of his father who was the state chairman of Nigeria Ports Authority.
He said as someone who loves his people, now is the right opportunity to serve them with his young age and bring development to them.
While expressing optimism that APGA has the popularity to give him victory as state House of Assembly member, Ogbonna said he will fight with the support of the people and delegates to secure victory at the primary election.
Ogbonna who has been a member of APGA since 2013 expressed confidence that the people will massively support him to win at the polls to represent them at the State House of Assembly in 2023.
