Being Idle Will Not Help Anyone To Arise And Shine – Presbyterian Church Reverend

The minister in charge of Presbyterian Church of Nigeria, Solid Rock Parish Umuahia, The Rt. Rev. Ezera Ume has called on Nigerians, particularly the Christian community to stand up from their comfort zones and embrace hard work in order to arise and shine even as the 2020 begins in earnest.

He made this call on Sunday in a chat with ABN TV shortly after the Sunday service.

Rev. Ume who had earlier spoken on the topic, ‘Arise and Shine’ observed that hard work, prayer and acceptance of the prophetic declaration are critical for people to arise and shine in all they do.

He stated that because the pronouncement is divine, it will come to pass in the life of every believer.

The word of God says God is not a man that He should lie. When God told Abraham that he was going to be a father, that his wife was going to become pregnant and deliver a child, Abraham believed God and started giving thanks because he believed that every word that comes from the Lord will come to pass. All we have to do is to accept the word of God and believe that the year 2020 is our time to arise and shine” he stated.

He appealed to everyone live in faith and a sanctified life and believe that the year 2020 will usher a period when God will allow their light to shine even brighter.
