President Bola Tinubu is currently holding a closed-door meeting at the Presidential Villa in Abuja with former governors of Rivers and Delta states, Nyesom Wike and James Ibori, respectively, and Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State.
At around 4:20 p.m., Makinde, Wike, and Ibori arrived at the State House.
Remember that Tinubu and Ibori were governors from 1999 to 2007.
An unconfirmed rumour has it that Ibori will soon defect to the APC, whereas Wike and Makinde are members of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, who formed the G-5 group of governors and worked against Atiku Abubakar, the PDP presidential candidate, during the recently concluded presidential election.
