Former Chief of Staff to Imo State governor, Chief Uche Nwosu said he ventured into the hospitality industry because of his conviction in empowering the youths for a more peaceful society.
He also added that his major focus is to raise youths who will not only be independent but employers of the labour themselves.
Speaking with ABN TV in Abuja on Wednesday shortly after emerging the hospitality man of the year in the Igbere TV Leadership Excellence Award, Nwosu, a former governorship candidate said he has also ventured into agriculture as an aspect of hospitality where he has empowered youths in the area of the fishery, piggery, palm cultivation and others.
“It’s something I went into in order to provide job opportunities for our younger generation” he added.

He expressed gratitude to the management of Igbere TV and those who voted for him to emerge the hospitality man of the year.
According to Nwosu, irrespective of what one does, people observe and pass judgement base of their perception of such individuals.
“If you open, say a pure water industry, there are people who are watching to know if the taste of your water is good, the way you package it and the way you sell it. I think what makes people come closer to you is packaging and also showing yourself truly who you are. Because most times, people don’t show themselves, they try to pretend and show the other side,” he added.
