A chieftain of PDP in Abia State, Nwaigwe John Sunday has confessed that he was deceived to hate, insult and castigate Hon. Uko Nkole, member representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency.
He said he was told a lot of lies against the federal lawmaker which he never verified before commencing his mission of hate against him.
In an article titled, “NEVER YOU HATE SOMEONE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU WERE TOLD: NEVER YOU HATE SOMEONE BECAUSE OF WHAT YOU WERE TOLD” Mr. Sunday said he started criticizing Hon. Nkole since 2016 which he said was benefitting some persons.
“I know that this may sound strange to some people but I think it’s should also be a lesson to some of our Youths who have fallen victim of this my story.
“According to a famous gospel singer, Prince Gozie Okeke the worse thing that will happen to a man is for him to fall down and refuse to stand up and move on.
“Yes, I know that for sometimes now people and indeed my fans, friends, well-wishers etc. will be surprised seeing me writing, supporting and projecting the activities of Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole, the Member Representing Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency rather than what it’s used to be before.
“Yes, because from the on set that was what I was supposed to be doing. What ever am writing now is from the dept of my heart and I don’t owe any apologies to anyone and will never because no body is God.
“It has become imperative for me to say the obvious. Everything started when I was told all sorts of things including lies Against the person of Hon. Uko Ndukwe Nkole and I stupidly believed without making proper enquiries” he said.
While noting that there was never any problem between him and Hon. Nkole in the first instance, Mr. Sunday said he did this not minding that he was of the same political party with him.
“In the first place, there was no problem between me and hon. Uko, infact I only knew him as my brother from Abam and there was nothing more and I was deceived to hate him for no just reason even when the holy Bible is against it.
“I started castigating and writing Against this honourable man since 2016 for no just reason just because of what I was told and to impress some people and even without minding that we are of the same political party and also without knowing that we are also related.
“And as the Almighty God does his things, in April this year, God Almighty made it possible through some good hearted People to bring us together in peace.
“Even when I knew that some people were benefiting while I was having problem with my brother, but nevered know that they only loved me because I was insulting Hon. Uko Nkole.
“Let it also be known that I decided to pick tenth with my brother because I believe that’s the good thing for me do and I decided to do that when I realized my mistakes.
“But after sometimes now I have found out that everything I was told about this great man were all lies although I stand to be corrected in the future.
“Hon. Uko Nkole is a fine gentle man of impeccable character, a philanthropist, a great leader and an advocate of the Youths and his people.
“Let me categorically say it now that I have no regret in making peace with my brother who have the interest of his people at heart and will continue to work for and with him.
“Like I said from the beginning, never you allowed your self to be used against an innocent man.
“In all I must thank in a special way all the Leaders of Arochukwu LGA, friends and good people of God who contributed in one way or the other in making this happen.
“Let it also be officially known that am with him now because I was initially deceived to hate him” he concluded.
He also said a second part of the article should be expected.
