“I Take Responsibility For Poor Results” – Potter Admit

Graham Potter, the former Chelsea coach, has admitted that the team’s bad run of play during his tenure is his fault.

In a statement obtained from Fabrizio Romano’s X handle on Friday, Potter said, “I take responsibility for the results.

But the easy solution is Chelsea aren’t winning, so it must be the coach. He’s the problem. That might not be 100 percent wrong, but it’s not 100 percent right.”

Recall that Potter was sacked after just over six months in charge, winning 12 matches, eight draws, and losing 11 in all competitions.

Chelsea appointed Potter in September 2022 following the sacking of Thomas Tuchel. They paid Brighton around £21m in compensation for the manager and a host of his backroom staff.

Potter signed a five-year contract but was shown the door after less than seven months in charge.
