The Okwun Ojah Family Foundation is set to distribute 60 bags of rice to communities in Ohafia, Abia State, in a bid to alleviate the suffering of residents amidst the current economic hardship.
The foundation’s president, Barr. Dr. Okwun Ojah, known for his philanthropic efforts, has chosen to distribute the rice ahead of the usual December schedule, in response to the current economic challenges facing the nation
He said “the gesture is aimed at cushioning the effect of the economic downturn on the people of Ohafia”.
The rice distribution exercise is scheduled to take place on August 10th, 2024, at two locations: Amaekpu and Nde Uduma Awoke Ohafia, starting at 8 am.
This philanthropic effort is expected to bring relief to many families in the community, and is part of the foundation’s ongoing commitment to supporting the people of Ohafia.
