Hon. Peter Azubuike Hails Gov. Otti’s Two-Year Performance, Describes Him As “God-Sent Leader”

A chieftain of the Labour Party and former Obingwa East State Constituency candidate in the 2023 election, Hon. Peter Azubuike, popularly known as “The Rock,” has commended the Executive Governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Chioma Otti, for what he described as an outstanding and people-oriented leadership within his first two years in office.

In a congratulatory message released on behalf of his family, the staff of Petbridge Nigeria Ltd., and the people of Obingwa Local Government Area, Hon. Azubuike celebrated the Governor’s second anniversary in office, praising the administration’s impactful strides in critical sectors of the state.

He stated that the Governor’s deliberate and focused developmental projects have effectively begun to lift Abians out of years of economic hardship and systemic deprivation.

“Taking into account the avalanche of people-oriented projects that you have accomplished within just two years, one would realize that you came prepared to deliver democracy dividends to Ndi Abia and to free them from the shackles of impoverishment and deprivation that have plagued the state over the years,” Azubuike remarked.

He further echoed Governor Otti’s famous assertion of being “in a hurry to take Abia to another level,” adding that the Governor’s achievements so far clearly reflect a selfless and visionary approach to governance.

“Abians could not have asked for anything short of your person at this critical time. And we are very proud of you,” he added.

Hon. Azubuike concluded his message with a prayer for divine inspiration for the Governor and extended heartfelt congratulations to all Abians, expressing optimism that “Abia must be great again.”

Governor Alex Otti, who assumed office in May 2023, recently marked his second year in office with a series of activities showcasing his administration’s achievements and policy milestones.
