Hon Ogah Celebrates Christmas With Widows, Disabled Persons, Party Members And Others

The member representing the Isiukwuato/Umunnochi Federal constituency in the House of Representatives, Hon. Amobi Ogah has distributed more than a trailer load of rice to his constituents for their Christmas celebration.

Also, millions of naira -worth of cash and wrappers were distributed to the Isiukwuato/Umunnochi constituency with widows, people with disabilities, security men, transporters, community members and party members all benefiting.

Speaking while distributing the items at his Onuaku Uturu country home, Hon Ogah who was appreciative to his constituents for standing with him before, during and the election period, said the gifts he shared, was to enable his constituents enjoy a blissful Christmas.

Ogah who also thanked his people for always praying for him during his post-election  Court cases, said that cases were aimed at distracting him but expressed happiness that “God has shown that He is God and the giver of power”.

He promised to organize a organize interactive  meetings with his constituents every three months to know their needs , said would ensure that quality projects are attracted to Isiukwuato/Umunnochi Federal  constituency.

He noted that he had been doing Christmas empowerment for his people  24th December of every year even before becoming their representative at the National Assembly, saying that it gave him Joy to help the needy.

The Labour Party chieftain said that the gifts he shared were for all constituents, irrespective of their political party affiliation.

He recounted how spend about N500 million naira on multiple cases filed against him by his political opponents but expressed the joy that God gave him victory at last.

He also used the occasion to announce that all members of National Assembly from Abia State and the South East at large have resolved to develop the State, irrespective of their political party identify.

Apart from this, Hon Amobi Ogah expressed the hope that the detained leader of IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu will still regain his freedom soon, even as he said that the passage of South East Development Commission Bill by the National Assembly represents a milestone in the history of the region and praised Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon Benjamin Kalu for development.

A widow, Mrs Monica Okorie from Nneato,  thanked Him Ogah for remembering providing food, clothing and cash for her family.
