The APGA Candidate for Ohafia South State Constituency, Abia State, Hon. Dike Chidozie Okwara, has commiserated with families who lost their loved ones in the last few days in Ohafia, Ohafia L.G.A of Abia State, praying for God’s consolation upon them.
He also expressed sympathy to those who sustained injuries as well as those whose properties were destroyed.
In a statement on Friday, the APGA chieftain called on the government of Abia State to intervene and ensure that normalcy returns to the community so that the people can carry on with their commercial and social activities without hitches.
He said, “I also call on the government of the day to raise up to their responsibility and engage the community and the military in a bid to finding a lasting solution.
“I align with and support the call for synergy from all facets of the Ohafia kingdom to fashion out ways of stopping this unfriendly atmosphere in our system. I am prepared to offer assistance wherever such is needed.
“Ohafia deserves peace and God will protect each and every Ohafia person within and outside the clan,” he said.
