Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi federal constituency of Abia State, Hon Amobi Ogah will be conferred with the award of Public Health Icon Of The Year at the forthcoming 5th edition of the 2023 Leadership Excellence Awards.
This is in recognition of his outstanding performance in national Public health administration, tremendous contribution to Nation building and selfless service to humanity, a nomination letter signed by the LOC secretary and chairman, Emeh James Anya and Prof. B. I Babafemi respectively said.
The lawmaker who recently floored the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Hon. Nkeiruka Onyejeocha at the Appeal Court is the Chairman House of Representatives Committee on HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis and malaria prevention.
Onyejeocha had challenged his victory at February 25 National Assembly election, a victory the Appeal Court upheld.
He would be conferred with the award on Saturday November 11, 2023 at The Congress Hall, Transcorp Hilton Abuja, by 5pm.
