Hon. Amobi Ogah Congratulates Gov. Alex Otti At Two-Year Milestone, Hails Era Of Transformation In Abia

The Member representing Isuikwuato/Umunneochi Federal Constituency and Chairman, House Committee on HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria Control, Hon. Amobi Godwin Ogah, has joined well-meaning Abians in congratulating Governor Alex Chioma Otti on the occasion of his second anniversary in office.

In a congratulatory message made available to newsmen on Tuesday, Hon. Ogah described the two-year leadership of Governor Otti as “a bold and visionary chapter that has redefined governance in Abia State.”

He commended the Governor for initiating and sustaining reforms that have brought visible transformation across critical sectors of the state, stating that Abians now have renewed hope in public leadership.

“Governor Otti came into office with a heart of service and a clear vision for a better Abia. In just two years, his administration has delivered significant milestones that are impacting lives across the state,” Hon. Ogah said.

The federal lawmaker particularly highlighted achievements in infrastructure, healthcare, education, and workers’ welfare. According to him, the transformation of road networks has improved connectivity across local governments, while the revitalization of hospitals and schools has restored public confidence in government institutions.

“From Umuahia to Umunneochi, from Aba to Bende, Governor Otti’s imprint is clear. Roads have been rebuilt, hospitals revived, schools made functional, and salaries paid promptly. These are no small feats,” he added.

Hon. Ogah further praised the Governor’s implementation of free and compulsory basic education, describing it as a life-changing initiative that has removed barriers for children across the state.

He also noted the positive impact of Governor Otti’s performance on Abia’s national standing, saying the state’s voice is now being respected more than ever before.

“Abia is no longer on the sidelines. We are being looked up to across the nation, thanks to the Governor’s visionary leadership,” he said.
