Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State, Hon. Obi Aguocha has applauded the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu for supporting the call for release of Nnamdi Kanu, the detained leader of IPOB.
The lawmaker says the Deputy Speaker’s backing and his contact has further amplified the call and propelled the call for Nnamdi Kanu’s unconditional release forward.
In a statement, the Abia lawmaker remarked that the Deputy Speaker’s wealth of experience and unwavering dedication has been invaluable.
He said, “His endorsement and devotion, advocacy, and strategic engagement resonate with our movement, which has strengthened our confidence in the possibility of achieving a political solution for the timely release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”
Hon. Aguocha also thanked his fellow lawmaker, Rt. Hon Ikenga Ugochinyere Imo for his consistent dedication to justice, equity, and fairness.
He added, “I am deeply inspired by the solidarity and steadfast backing of the South-East caucus of the 10th House of Representatives.
