In a related development, four villages in the Arewa Local Government Area—Tungar Chindo, Tungar Kure, Feske Malabawa, and Feske Rafi—were also hit by severe flooding. The floods submerged dozens of homes and caused significant losses of livestock and property valued at hundreds of thousands of naira.

More than 60 houses were reported destroyed in the Arewa area alone, compounding the humanitarian impact of the disaster across the state.

Local authorities are assessing the damage in both regions, and affected communities are appealing for immediate support and relief from the state and federal governments.
