President Muhammadu Buhari has commiserated with the National Working Committee (NWC) of the All Progressives Congress (APC), following the passing of the National Welfare Secretary, Friday Nwosu.

This was contained in a statement issued on Friday by his Senior Special Assistant to the President, Garba Shehu.

Mr. Garba said Buhari condoled with family members, friends, and associates of the lawyer, who according to him, served the party and country diligently, remarkably handling affairs of members with care, especially during the campaigns and elections.

The President affirmed that the wisdom and maturity of the late National Welfare Secretary contributed to the successes of the party over the years.

He noted that the departure of Nwosu left a vacuum in the leadership segment that caters to members and staff of the APC.

President Buhari prayed that Nwosu’s soul will find eternal rest, and God’s covering over his family.
