Unidentified arsonists early hours on Monday set the office of Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC situated at Amaekpu Ohafia in Ohafia local government area of Abia State on fire.
ABN TV did not however ascertain the level of damage caused in the burn as at the moment of this report.
Recall that on Sunday, Mike Okiro Police Station located along Umuahia-Uzoakoli Road was set attacked in which exhibits, including vehicles in the station were burnt.
Following an intelligence report, personnel of the Nigeria Police Force in the station were evacuated three weeks earlier.
There was no loss of life or weapons in the Sunday attack.
The state governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu had in a statement by the Commissioner for Information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu vowed that the perpetrators of the heinous crime will not go unpunished.
