Grief As Chief Ben Torty Set For Final Burial At His Asaga Ohafia Hometown

All is now set for the final interment of late Chief Ben O.E Torty Ogbuzua 1 of Asaga Ohafia (1943-2021) whose demise occurred on the 23rd, day of February 2021.

Describing him as dearly beloved, husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend the family in a statement signed by Cmdr. NEO Torty (CNA) expressed grief and regret over the passing on of their father.

FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS
TUESDAY 25th MAY, 2021
4-6pm: Service of Songs at St. Andrews Presbyterian Cathedral,
6/8 Amokwe Street Uwani Enugu residence.
6:30pm: Wake keep at his Enugu residence.

THURSDAY 27th May, 2021
7am: Body leaves Eastern Nigerian Medical centre for his hometown.
1Oam: His body will be received at Onu Ogo Eziukwu, Asaga Ohafia.
10:30am: Brief stopover at Ndi Awa Uma Ukwu compound.
5-7:30pm: Wake keep at his home residence.

FRIDAY 28th May, 2021
7-9am: Lying in state at his residence.
10am: Open air service at Uma Ukpai Primary School field by the St. Andrew’s
Presbyterian Cathedral, Enugu Parish.
Internment follows immediately at his residence.
