In a heartwarming fulfillment of his promise, Governor Alex C. Otti has donated two brand new buses to the School for the Blind in Umuahia, Abia State.
This gesture comes just weeks after the Governor’s emotional encounter with the students during the Children’s Day celebration on May 27.
During the event, the Governor was moved to tears by the students’ march past and their salute, prompting him to promise the school two new buses.
True to his word, Governor Otti has now delivered on that promise, providing the school with the much-needed vehicles.
The buses are expected to greatly enhance the mobility and access to education for the students, and the school community is overjoyed by the Governor’s kindness. This act of generosity has further solidified Governor Otti’s commitment to the welfare of all members of Abia State’s community, regardless of their abilities.
The students and staff of the School for the Blind are grateful for the Governor’s fulfillment of his promise, and the buses are sure to have a positive impact on their daily lives. Governor Otti’s administration continues to prioritize education and social welfare, and this donation is a shining example of that dedication.
