Governor Ikpeazu Signs Anti Open Grazing Bill Into Law

Abia State governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu on 29th of June 2018 signed our anti-grazing law,  commissioner for information, Chief John Okiyi Kalu says.

He made this known to the public on his facebook wall on Thursday 16th September 2021.

He wrote; Governor Okezie Ikpeazu signed our anti-grazing law on 29th of June 2018.

Southern governors had earlier in the year resolved to enact the law after a meeting, as a means to protect livelihood in the region and mitigate the incessant clashes between herders and farmers in the region.
