Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the immediate dissolution of the executive of the state chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), ABN TV reports.
This is contained in a release signed by Secretary to the State Government, Barr Chris Ezem late Wednesday.
He further announced that a new Executive team will be announced shortly.

No reason was given for the sack of the ALGON executive.
