The governor of Abia State, Dr. Alex Otti has barred payment of state revenues from unauthorized channels, ABN TV reports.
This is in an effort to ensure accountability and reporting, a release by Kazie Uko, chief press Secretary to the Governor said on Tuesday.
The governor, therefore, directed that all payments should be made through designated Bank Branches.

“Additional approved online and offline channels will be communicated by the Office of the Special Adviser to the Governor on Internally Generated Revenue and Digital Transformation.
“This announcement takes immediate effect”, the statement added.
