Gov. Otti Moving Umuahia From Status Of A Glorified Village — Rep. Aguocha

Member representing Ikwuano/Umuahia federal constituency of Abia State in the House of Representatives, Hon. Obi Aguocha has congratulated governor of the state, Alex Otti for the massive infrastructural projects in his constituency, describing him as dynamic and performing.

The lawmaker in a statement applauded Gov Otti for his benevolent gesture in the three local governments of Ikwuano, Umuahia South and North, all in his constituency.

He said the governor is moving the state capital, Umuahia away from the status of a glorified village to what a state capital should be.

“We appreciate His Excellency, Gov. Otti for his benevolent gesture in seeing that the seat of capital which is in my federal constituency stands to reflect as it’s obtainable in Lagos, Port Harcourt, Enugu, Uyo and other state capitals.

“Umuahia the state capital and environs is now moving away from the status of a glorified village to what a state capital should be like.

“We’ve never had it this good in infrastructure and good governance“, he noted.

He appreciated the governor for his giant strides in the state in a short while, assuring the support and cooperation of the people of his constituency in assisting the governor build the Abia of great status.
