Abia State Governor Alex Otti has fulfilled a key campaign promise by launching a N1 billion interest-free revolving loan scheme to empower 10,000 nano and small-scale business owners across the state’s 184 wards.
The event which took place on Thursday at the International Conference Center (ICC) Umuahia.
This initiative is expected to provide a significant boost to the local economy and support the growth of small businesses.
In addition, Governor Otti also handed over 15 units of 18-seater Innoson buses to the harmonized Central Taskforce to enhance the state’s sanitation efforts, tackle touting, and ensure a cleaner and safer environment for residents and businesses.
