Benue State Government has constituted a Management team that would oversee the affairs of the recently established Benue Public Service Institute, BPSI.
The state government disclosed this in a statement issued in Makurdi on Wednesday by Governor Hyacinth Alia’s Chief Press Secretary, CPS, Tersoo Kula.
DAILY POST recalls that the Benue State Executive Council on January 10, approved the establishment of BPSI to serve as a training centre for all Civil Servants in the State.
Alia, according to his spokesman, approved the appointment of Prof Terkura Tarnande as Director General, S. I. Shimave, Director of Programmes and Cecilia Ohemu, Director of Administration and Finance.
Others were Dr. Mark Nyitse, Director of Research and Documentation and Mr. Moses Ode as the institute’s Librarian.
The statement added that the responsibility of the BPSI is to help develop Benue civil servants through strategic capacity building programmes.
