Nollywood actor, Desmond Elliot who is also a representative of the APC in the Lagos State house of assembly, has refuted the claim made by the governor of Edo state Godwin Obaseki, that “Edo no be Lagos.”
He made this know during an interview he had recently, where he discussed Pastor Ize-Iyamu’s SIMPLE agenda.
Refuting this claim, the Nollywood actor said;
“Saying Edo state can never be Lagos State means that Edo state can never be as developed as Lagos State. This is very detrimental to the state itself and it’s not right for a Governor to say that, because saying Edo state can never be as big and as popular as Lagos State means that he is trying to pull Edo backwards.”
“Obaseki is a product of godfatherism and so I am, godfather in politics only teach you how to make people happy and rule peacefully with impact, so godfatherism will continue, “ He added.
