GCK: Ignore Those Who Don’t Want To Be Honest By Saying All Is Well With Nigeria — Obasanjo [VIDEO]

Olusegun Obasanjo

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has called on Nigerians to ignore those he said don’t want to be honest with themselves by saying that all is well with the country.

He insisted that all is not well with Nigeria saying all will be well if the people trust in God and believe in Jesus Christ.

Obasanjo made this known while speaking at the opening ceremony of Global Crusade with Kumuyi (GCK), a gospel evangelism outfit by pastor W.F Kumuyi, the General Superintendent of Deeper life Christian Ministry in Abeokuta.

He extolled Pastor Kumuyi for shunning evil and remaining an honest man of great integrity, expressing optimism that God will be merciful to Nigeria.

Obasanjo expressed gratitude to Kumuyi and his team for the honour to speak at the event, praying for God’s love upon Nigeria.

Obasanjo has been critical of the government’s handling of security challenges in the country.

He has also raised concern about the growing poverty level, even as he has been one of those who condemned APC over the Muslim-Muslim ticket in the 2023 presidential election.

In his comment, Pastor Kumuyi expressed gratitude to Obasanjo for joining in the crusade which he said has about 3 million audience both in-person and virtually.

The cleric said in the midst of technological breakthrough and advancement, there is increasing economic, social, and ecological upheavals which impact on the quality of life globally.

He said the global community is witnessing deep-rooted emotional problems arising from droughts, climate change concerns, and other challenges which he said are traceable to human activities.

He said the GCK has impacted about 30 million since last year, adding that about 150 countries of the world are hooked to the telecast.

According to him, there has been a great miracle of salvation, healing, deliverance through God’s intervention, and prayer of faith.
