An education-based non-governmental organisation, Children’s Trust Foundation has donated the sum of N2,520,000 to Ohafia Model High School, Ebem-Ohafia in Abia State for the WAEC Examination registration of 63 SS3 students of the school.
This advances the foundation’s mission of providing support to students and families with minimal access to quality education.
The fund was presented by the founder of the Children’s Trust, Mrs Edememe Ukoha on Friday.

In attendance to witness the moment were the Paramount Ruler of Ebem Kingdom and Kpoke 1 of Ebem Kingdom HRH Ezie Ukoha Kalu Ukoha (JP), members of the Ezie’s cabinet, and the school management.
Responding, the School Principal thanked the Foundation for the kind gesture.
The principal also solicited more support that will enable the re-roofing of the school’s dilapidated classrooms as well as the resourcing of the school library.
Apart from its investment in education, the foundation also supports indigent families with essentials, including food, water, medical, and training for sustenance.
