Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe, former Executive Chairman of Ohafia LGA and APC member, has praised Deputy Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Benjamin Okezie Kalu, for his impactful legislative efforts and effective representation of the Igbo people at the national level.
In a statement made available to ABN TV by Hon Ifeanyi Okoro Kalu, Special Assistant on Media and Communication to Dr. Okorafor Ukiwe, Ukiwe specifically highlighted the South East Development Commission bill, signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as a significant milestone in the region’s redevelopment. He emphasized the importance of peace in achieving this goal, citing the Peace in South East Project (PISE-P), an initiative championed by Deputy Speaker Kalu.
Dr. Ukiwe urged APC stakeholders in Abia State and the South East region to unite and support Deputy Speaker Kalu in promoting the party’s progressive agenda in the region.
Additionally, Dr. Ukiwe expressed gratitude to President Tinubu for addressing the region’s infrastructural deficits and including the Igbo people in his renewed hope agenda.
