Former Minister of State for Mines and Steel Development, Dr. Uche Ogah has commiserated with the government and people of Abia State over the Tuesday fatal accident in Aba where many people lost their lives, saying it is devastating.
The former minister while also commiserating with families of those who lost their lives applauded the measure being taken by the state governor, Alex Otti in restricting the movement of articulated vehicles during the day time to forestall future occurrence.
Ogah pointed out that all measures being put in place to secure the lives of Abians and those who live in the state should be supported, expressing worry that Waterside the scene of the Tuesday crash should be paid the needed attention.
He therefore sends message of condolence to Governor Otti and those who lost their loved ones in the accident.
He called on every citizen of Abia to put their differences aside at this period of mourning and unite to find a lasting solution to this ugly incident, urging that the development should not be given political coloration.
While committing the souls of the departed to God, he prayed God to give the bereaved families the fortitude to bear the loss.
