Nentawe, a former Resident Electoral Commissioner in Benue State for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), received 803 votes to defeat three other candidates. الكازينو
Before voting began, there were nine contenders in the race; however, five of them withdrew.
Chairman of the Electoral Committee, Hon. Habu Ajiya, said those who withdrew from the contest included Sunday Garba Biggs, Dr. Sarpiya Danyaro, Sen. Hezekiah Dimka, and Arch. Steve Fitka.
Also, Deputy Governor of the State, Prof. Sonni Tyoden, Dr. Patrick Dakum, and David Victor Dimka walked out just before voting commenced.
