Former Cameroon Coach, Conceicao Applies For Super Eagles Job

Former Indomitable Lions of Cameroon head coach, Antonio Conceicao has submitted his application to lead the Super Eagles of Nigeria.

According to a report in SCORENigeria, the Portuguese is among the top coaches, who have expressed interest in leading the three-time African champions.

Conceicao managed Cameroon from 2019 to 2022.

The 62-year-old guided the Indomitable Lions to third position at the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.

The experienced tactician has also coached in Portugal, Romania and Saudi Arabia.

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) recently declared the position of Super Eagles head coach vacant and invited applications from interested gaffers.

Another Portuguese, Jose Peseiro was last in charge of the team.
