The former Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Abia State, Prof. Joseph Iloh, has passed away.
Prof. Iloh, who hailed from Enugu State, reportedly died on Sunday. Details surrounding the circumstances of his death are still sketchy as of the time of filing this report.
ABN TV reports that He served as the INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner in Abia State from 2017 to 2022, a period during which he played a key role in overseeing elections and strengthening Nigeria’s democratic process.
His passing marks the exit of an administrator remembered for his service and contributions to electoral management.
