Forest Sign £37m Hutchinson Deal From Ipswich

Nottingham Forest have agreed a deal to sign winger Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town in a transfer worth £37 million.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano disclosed on Friday that the 21-year-old will undergo a medical after agreeing on personal terms with the Premier League side.

He said, “Nottingham Forest agree deal to sign Omari Hutchinson from Ipswich Town for £37m fee, here we go! Omari, on his way to medical right now as personal terms are also agreed for the new”

Hutchinson, who began his youth career at Chelsea before spells with Charlton Athletic and Arsenal, returned to the Blues in 2022 but struggled for first-team action.

He enjoyed a breakout campaign on loan at Ipswich in the 2023/24 season, scoring 10 goals and providing five assists to help the Tractor Boys win promotion to the Premier League. His performances earned him the EFL Championship Player of the Month award in February 2024.
