Flying Eagles head coach, Ladan Bosso is optimistic his team will bounce back from the disappointing loss to Uganda.
Bosso’s side started their campaign at the African Games 2023 on a disappointing note following a 2-1 defeat to Hippos of Uganda.
The Flying Eagles put up a shambolic display in the game despite their favourites tag.

The gaffer however, remains, unperturbed despite the setback and has promised a reaction from his players.
“We would have a positive meeting with the players. It is important that they express themselves,” Bosso said after the game.
“Logically, we would have liked to have started (the tournament) in another way, but the players are clear that there are two games ahead that could make so much difference.
“Anyone has the possibility of being a starter – am optimistic the players know what they stand to achieve and the task ahead.
“We talked about football with the group, about how we can improve the mistakes we had and thus move on with a positive mentality.”
The Flying Eagles will face South Sudan in their next Group B game at the Accra Sports Stadium on Monday.
