The nephew of the Leader of Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) Nnamdi Kanu, Prince Ugonnaya Daniel Kanu on Thursday marked his first birthday amidst flow of goodwill from friends of the family and supporters of IPOB worldwide.
The celebrant’s father, Prince Emmanuel Kanu expressed gratitude to God that his son is growing in wisdom and admonition of the Lord.

Mrs. Favour Michael Kanu, mother of the celebrant took to her Facebook page to write:

“The moment i held you in my arms, the moment i knew what pure unconditional love meant.
“Your cute dimpled smiles, your sloppy kisses and those incoherent words you blab reassure me God truly exists and that he loves me!
“Ugom, BOOSKELENTO INANA, I still dont know what i did to deserve you, still dont know how i got this lucky, but i surely know the world is yours to conquer because we love you to the ends of this world!
“Happy birthday PRINCE UGONNAYA DANIEL KANU, my first fruit, the son of my youth, my good luck charm.
“Thanks for making motherhood so easy!” she said.
