Finidi George Not Sacked As Enyimba FC Manager — Abia Govt

Abia State government has denied sacking the technical bench of Nigeria’s premier league champions, Enyimba International Football Club, Aba, headed by former Super Eagles player, Finidi George.

The government in a statement on Monday signed by chief press secretary to the governor, Kazie Uko urged the general public to disregard what he called the fake story making the rounds.

There is no iota of truth in that fable as no directive has been issued in that regard by either the state government or the club’s management.

“Mr. Finidi George, manager of Enyimba and Nigeria’s former international, remains the manager of the club, likewise all other officers”, the statement stated.
