The United States government has boosted the efforts to curb the spread of COVID-19 in Nigeria by donating over four million and eighty thousand doses of Moderna Vaccines to the federal government.
The Director-General National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA) Dr. Faisal Shuaib announced on Monday that the 4.80 million doses were donated through the COVAX facilities.
While briefing the media the Chairman Presidential Steering Committee on COVID-19, Mr Boss Mustapha thanked the government and people of the United States for this gift, which he promised will be utilized judiciously.
